One of the most wonderful things about square dancing in West Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley, is that many of us students are encouraged to visit other nearby clubs to dance/practice with a variety of class & club callers.  In that way, our learning and dancing becomes more practiced and more proficient.  Also, it’s so great to meet other new and experienced dancers, callers, and club coordinators at other clubs.  So, dancing in and of itself is not only great exercise and rewarding, but also serves as a great socializing agent for making new friendships and creating extended community connections.
